Langtang-Gosainkunda-Helambu circuit trekking is one of the most popular adventure trek in Nepal. It is also known as the valley of glacier and located in the northern part of Nepal close to the Tibet border. The trek starts by driving to Syabru Besi which is about 8-9 hrs from Kathmandu which is a beautiful drive.
The trekking region of Langtang-Gosaikunda-Helambu is protected by Langtang National Park which is a picturesque route and is also the home of snow leopards, jackals, himalayan thar, himalayan black bear, ghoral, serow, rhesus monkey and common langur. This Trek offers impressive Himalayan landscape and is near to Langtang Lirung, Langtang Ri, Ganesh Himal, and Tibet Himalayan range, Langchenpo, Yala peak, Naya Kanga, Manaslu Himal, Dorje Lakpa and also includes Everest Himalayan range.
Langtang-Gosaikunda-Helambu trek trail leads you on the upstream Bhote Kosi river through traditional ethnic Tamang and Tibetan settlement and a sub-tropical dense forest of oak, birch, and pine. The best time to be in Helambu is during the spring. The high meadows look as carpets with a rich variety of alpine wildflower with rare tree orchids and the colourful rhododendron. The broad Kyanjin valley surrounded by snow peaks from all four sides takes you up to Kyanjin Gompa (3,910m) then our trekking equipment will help you get an opportunity to climb up to Kyangin Ri (4,773m) which offers one of the best 360-degree panoramic mountain views.
The trek ascents to the high altitude of Laurebina (4,000m) with an excellent view of Annapurna Himalayan range and toward holy Gosainkunda (4,381). Over the years, this holy Gosainkunda lake has become one of the sacred pilgrimage sites for the ‘shamans’, the traditional witch doctor and to many Hindu and Buddhist devotees.
Our 11 days trek itinerary will help you cross over to Gosainkunda Laurebina pass (4,600m), downhill and ascending up to Tharepanti (3,640m). One can enjoy the spectacular view of Dorje Lakpa 6,966m, Gaurishankar (7,135m) and many others Everest Himalayan range during this trek.
